Dana West Jr.-Sr. High » From the Principal
Message from the Principal, Mr. Shawn Bissetta Welcome back to the start of an exciting new school year! The beginning of every year offers all of us the opportunity to re-dedicate ourselves to becoming the best we can possibly be. If you have experienced success in academic and/or extra-curricular experiences, you have a chance to take your achievements to an even higher level. If you have not yet experienced the high level of success you would like to attain, there’s no better time thank now to focus your efforts on achieving to your fullest potential. The most important lesson you can learn is this – you are in control. That’s right, you will become as successful as you decide to become. Being a student, teacher, parent or administrator associated with Dana L. West High School requires us to commit to striving for continued improvement – anything less than that means you’ve and we’ve let ourselves down. I look forward to working with all the members of our school both staff and students, to continue in the process of becoming better than ever. Don’t allow yourself to be satisfied with anything less than your absolute best. You’ll be amazed at what you’re capable of when you accept no excuses, hold yourself accountable, and take control of your quest for success. You have a building full of people who will be ready to help you every step of the way, please take advantage of it. Good luck! “I’m a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it.” Thomas Jefferson
